Cyber Group’s objective for optimal quality is to deliver software maintenance project deliverables that strictly meet or exceed our customer’s performance and software quality assurance (SQA) requirements.

Our SQA procedures are an integral part of our value engineering process (VEP) that provide project management with assurances that all essential Cyber Group development processes, procedures, and standards are being strictly followed on every project.

SQA responsibilities include:

Planning SQA activities, including metrics, as part the development of the project plan.
Reviewing, inspecting and auditing work products.
Participating in code and software design reviews.
Resolving compliance issues.

Software Quality Assurance managers define, collect, and analyze SQA metrics in order to provide insight into the performance, progress, and status of individual SQA activities.

Software Metrics in Software Quality Assurance

Minimally, the following metrics are typically collected on our projects:

Man-days to perform SQA.
Software Bugs Reported/Bugs Identified per software baseline.
Software Bugs Fixed and Outstanding.
Average man-days to fix each bug.
Number of inspection reviews performed versus number of issues found.

The number of software change proposals per software requirement is documented for final release in the status report of each build. Change proposals are listed as changes to an existing software requirement or as additional requirements added.
